Black King Cobra Competition

Black King Cobra Competition

Is there anything better than finding a new band that blows you away? Yes there is, finding a local band that blows you away and what is even better than that(and very rare), finding a local band that you have no hesitation in promoting till you are hoarse in the full knowledge they are going to be huge so say hello to Black King Cobra.

This four piece from Glasgow are taking their hometown by storm with every gig. Youngsters crammed with talent, soul and a funk you haven’t heard since the early days of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. If you love Rock, Blues, Soul and funk this band is for you. If bands like the Black Crowes, Bad Touch, Chilli peppers, Free and Broken Witt Rebels is proudly sitting within your collection this is a must.

So enough waffle, I could talk about this band all night but that is not getting you closer to your next favourite band so here goes…the rules to get your hands on a copy of this piece of future history:-

1 Go to our facebook page( https://www.facebook.com/jacemedia.co.uk/) and like that damned thing.

2 Share this post(the original, not someone else’s post)

3 The first chance to win(top two win a copy) is to comment where you are from. As we are trying to get the name out far and wide the two furthest destinations from Glasgow will win.

4 The next chance to win is based on my strange imagination, Black King Cobra in my head conjures up a badly dubbed, B list Japanese move so comment what the band name brings to your mind, the funniest two will win.

Yes, it is that simple, now if you are still undecided check out the attached video. If this is still not enough(are you lot deaf?) check out the praise for this band below(yes, check out the man in the first comment…I think he know a thing or two about talent)…oh, and make sure you like the band’s facebook page( https://www.facebook.com/BKCobraOfficial/).

“Is this Glasgow’s best kept secret?” – Chris Glen (The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Michael Schenker Group).

“Energetic and tight young whippersnappers with fantastic vocals” – Just For Tonight Music.

“This is a groove rock band at its finest. Tight songs, bags of melody and a proficient level of musicianship throughout… One of the highlights of the entire weekend and a band well worth keeping an eye on.”
– Down The Front Media

“Despite their performance count still sitting in single figures, they deliver a tight set belying their youth… a great way to start the weekend and sets a high bar for the rest of the bands”.
– The Moshville Times

“…They won’t be going on first for much longer if they keep producing solid and entertaining performances like this. 8/10”
– MetalTalk.net

“For a band to have so few gigs under their belt, you’d be forgiven for thinking they’d been on the scene for a number of years. Instead, it just highlights how much talent the four-piece have.”
– The Moshville Times

“I was not the only one blown away by their performance tonight. I will lay down my gauntlet right now…this band will turn heads and quickly.

Sometimes you see a band and instantly know they are deemed for bigger and better things…sometimes it is really hard to tie down what that X factor is but with this band it is all down to a shade of complete originality…”
