Will Wilde: Album Bring It On Home.

2017-04-15_HRH_WW-10Will Wilde: Album Bring It On Home.

I have been lucky enough to see and have a chat with Will on two occasions, the first time at HRH Blues where he totally blew me away, and also at The Edge at Cropredy. And he not only is an amazing musician but also a genuinely nice guy, so I was both excited and pleased to be able to review his much anticipated new album. It is a covers album (groan I hear you say) but this a covers album with a difference.

It features eleven classic tunes from British and Irish bues artists, produced by his bandmate and virtuoso guitarist Danny Giles and is Will’s passionate homage to them but you have never heard them played like this before. He has the incredible ability to play the harmonica, essentially a a blues instrument, and take it to a higher level as he turns the blues harp into a powerful electric rock guitar sound. He definitely deserves his title The Hard2017-08-12 CropredyFringe_WillWilde-1 Rock Harmonica Hero. He has raised the bar and brought the harmonica back into the world of rock with tracks from the Likes of Free, Black Sabbath and Rory Gallagher. Each song showcases this man’s incredible and unique talent in spades and he has the voice to match it.

Will’s live show has been entertaining both blues and rock fans all over the UK and Europe and if you get the chance to see him you must, and you must go out and get this album I promise you will not be disappointed and you might even be surprised.
